In April of this year, 37-year-old Zhang Zilong left his position within the system and came to Xiong'an in pursuit of his innovative dreams, joining Hongqing Technology as the head of the Satellite Intelligent Operations and Management Center.

"Choosing to come to Xiong'an is a two-way convergence of a timely opportunity and professional aspiration."

The "Xiong'an-1" satellite currently soaring through space establishes a link with the ground station approximately every 90 minutes to transmit the satellite's status and data.

"These operational data from the real space environment will provide the basis for product finalization and mass production for the subsequent satellite internet constellation." Zhang Zilong explained that once the satellite internet constellation is successfully established, it will be equivalent to moving the "terrestrial communications highway" into space, enabling functions that the previous ground network could not provide, such as making phone calls and accessing the internet on airplanes.

"In Xiong'an, we will build Hongqing Technology's intelligent satellite manufacturing production line into a demonstration manufacturing base that is domestically leading and internationally first-class, contributing Hongqing's strength to the development of Xiong'an's aerospace information industry and even the national satellite internet constellation strategy with more reliable, efficient, and replicable satellite products."

Gazing at the flickering "Xiong'an-1" satellite icon on the screen, Zhang Zilong looked forward with anticipation.
