Weigao Group repurchases 0.14 million H-shares at HK$3.45–3.48, treasury stock rises to 54.08 million

Shandong Weigao Group Medical Polymer Company Limited (Weigao Group) disclosed that on 05 May 2026 it bought back 144,400 H-shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

• Transaction details – Volume: 144,400 shares (approximately 0.0032 % of the company’s outstanding H-shares before the transaction). – Price range: HK$3.45 to HK$3.48 per share, with a volume-weighted average price of HK$3.47. – Cash outlay: HK$0.50 million.

• Capital structure after the buy-back – Outstanding shares (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 4.468 billion. – Treasury shares increased from 53.94 million to 54.08 million. – Total issued shares remained unchanged at 4.522 billion, as the repurchased shares are being held in treasury and have not been cancelled.

• Repurchase mandate utilisation – Authorised limit: 451.56 million shares (approved 27 May 2025). – Cumulative repurchases under the mandate: 47.43 million shares, representing 10.504 % of the company’s share base on the date the mandate was granted. – Remaining authorisation: 404.13 million shares.

• Regulatory considerations – Under Hong Kong listing rules, Weigao Group is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares; this period extends to 05 June 2026.

The board confirmed that the repurchase complied with all applicable laws and listing regulations.
