Fantasia Holdings Group released its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance Report, detailing tighter board-level oversight, reduced resource consumption and broadened social programmes after 27 years in property development.
Governance and Strategy • The Board steers ESG policy through a dedicated working group, aligning risk management with Hong Kong listing requirements and China’s “dual-carbon” targets. • The “Sustainable Finance Framework” obtained a Second-Party Opinion from Sustainalytics, covering six green use-of-proceeds categories and two social categories. • Professional advisers were retained for carbon-neutrality and ESG compliance, and climate scenario analysis was benchmarked against NGFS pathways.
Environmental Performance • Total energy use fell 2.43 % year-on-year to 556.83 MWh; intensity improved to 0.07 MWh per sq m. • Scope 1 emissions were 26.77 tCO₂e (-20.93 %), Scope 2 emissions 268.90 tCO₂e (+3.70 %), bringing combined Scope 1+2 emissions to 295.68 tCO₂e (+0.85 %). • Non-hazardous waste fell 87.04 % to 0.22 t; intensity dropped to 0.028 kg per sq m. • A carbon audit was completed and emissions were fully offset via UN CDM credits from the Hebei ChengAn Biomass Cogeneration Project. • Site-level policies address dust, wastewater, energy and water saving; environmental breaches were nil during the year.
Workforce and Safety • Headcount stood at 83 (52 % female). Employees aged 31-40 represented 63 %. • Turnover rate was 24 %; male 20 %, female 28 %. • 68 % of staff received training, averaging 3.84 hours. • No work-related fatalities or injuries were recorded for the third consecutive year.
Supply Chain • The qualified pool comprises 288 mainland-based suppliers; 138 underwent ESG and performance assessments. • Quarterly and annual rating cycles govern admission, rectification and exit, with environmental clauses embedded in all contracts.
Community Investment • The Shenzhen Fantasia Foundation continued its focus on education, elderly care and poverty alleviation. • Long-term support for Fantasia Hope Primary School in Jiangxi includes new covered walkways, arts and sports programmes, and a teacher recognition scheme benefiting 15 rural educators in 2025.
Climate Risk and Resilience • Physical risks such as flooding and heat stress are mitigated through design standards, flood-control measures and operational drills. • Transition risks are addressed via enhanced disclosure and process optimisation; carbon pricing exposure is monitored. • Opportunities identified include green-building demand and low-carbon finance.
No material violations of environmental, labour, health-and-safety or anti-corruption regulations were reported during the year.
