Weigao Group repurchases 0.10 million H-shares; treasury stock rises to 55.37 million

Shandong Weigao Group Medical Polymer Company Limited (Weigao Group) disclosed that it bought back 100,000 H-shares on 15 May 2026 via on-market transactions at prices between HKD 3.49 and HKD 3.52, spending a total of HKD 0.35 million. The volume-weighted average price was HKD 3.51 per share.

Following the transaction, issued shares (excluding treasury shares) stood at 4,466.96 million, down 0.0022%, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 4,522.33 million. Treasury shares increased to 55.37 million.

The buy-back forms part of the mandate approved on 27 May 2025, which authorises repurchases of up to 451.56 million shares. Cumulative purchases under this mandate now total 48.72 million shares, representing 10.79% of the issued share base at the mandate date.

Under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Weigao Group is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 15 June 2026.
