CSOP 2x Long NVIDIA (07788) gained more than 2%, rising 2.53% to HK$186.35 as of press time, with a turnover of HK$383,000.

On the news front, according to NVIDIA (NVDA.US)'s official website, the board of directors approved an additional US$150 billion in buyback authorization on top of its existing share repurchase program, bringing the total remaining authorized repurchase amount to US$235 billion.

NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang stated, "Our abundant cash flow gives us the ability to invest in technology research and development to drive this transformation, while also returning capital to shareholders. This additional authorization reflects our confidence in long-term growth opportunities."

UBS estimates that NVIDIA's increased share buyback efforts could boost the company's earnings per share by approximately US$0.08 in the 2027 calendar year. The institution expects NVIDIA's 2027 earnings per share to be approximately US$17.16.

Some analysts also believe that considering NVIDIA still maintains extremely high growth rates, the company's current valuation should be higher, and the continuous expansion of share buyback scale is expected to help the market reassess its fair valuation level.
