On September 22nd, the launch event for the "2026 Made in China Promotion Week" was held in Beijing, with the Beijing leg of the "New Industrialization Media Research Tour" taking place the same day as part of the initiative.
During the event, a reporter from 21st Century Business Herald visited the Lingyi iTech Beijing Embodied Intelligence Mega-Factory along with the research group. According to available information, this facility is the first of its kind in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, operating on a "trinity" strategy that integrates hardware bodies, complete machine assembly, and coordinated industry-specific applications. Based in Beijing's Yizhuang area, the factory aims to establish an embodied intelligence manufacturing network covering major global markets.
The mega-factory is designed to offer one-stop solutions for embodied intelligence hardware manufacturing, spanning precision components, core modules, and full machine assembly and testing. Xia Wei, the production director at the facility, told 21st Century Business Herald that the factory is projected to reach an annual capacity of 10,000 units in 2026, with a gradual scale-up target of 500,000 units per year by 2030, positioning it as a global benchmark facility in the embodied intelligence sector.
