Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau has released the results of its 2025 provincial-level random inspections on type-approved measuring instruments, conducted in accordance with the Metrology Law of the People's Republic of China, Guangdong Province's Implementation Measures for the Metrology Law, interim provisions on product quality supervision and random inspections, and administrative measures for new measuring instrument products.

The inspection targeted manufacturing enterprises across the province holding type approval certificates for non-automatic weighing instruments, load cells, weighing indicators, electricity meters, gas meters, water meters, and gas detection (alarm) instruments for toxic, harmful, flammable, and explosive atmospheres. A total of 29 batches of measuring instruments were sampled, with 18 batches passing testing, 4 batches failing, and 7 batches found to have inconsistencies in type conformity.

In response to the identified issues, the bureau has taken action in accordance with the Administrative Measures for New Measuring Instrument Products. Detailed results are provided in the attached annexes, which include summaries of products that passed testing, products that failed testing, and products with type discrepancies.

Where the key findings lie

Among the 18 passing batches, notable manufacturers include Anluola (Shenzhen) Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. for its portable multi-gas detector (methane tester) model BTYQ-AR5X, Guangdong Hualanhai Electronic Measurement Technology Co., Ltd. for load cells models CZL601, and Guangzhou Electrical Measuring Instrument Factory for strain gauge load cells models YZC-1B and YZC-516. Also passing were Guangzhou Yicheng Technology Co., Ltd. with electronic cashier scales (non-automatic weighing instrument) model RX710, and Shenzhen Easycom Technology Co., Ltd. with intelligent AI label scales model i50.

Gas detection equipment also performed well, with Shenzhen Meileke Sensing Technology Co., Ltd. passing for industrial and commercial point-type combustible gas detector model GT-GA200-NB, Shenzhen Ruijing Smart Technology Co., Ltd. for model GTQ-D30, and Shenzhen Hi-Tech Sanjiang Electronics Co., Ltd. for models GTY-SJ-811 and GTY-SJ-810. Additional passing results came from Shenzhen Jianda Technology Co., Ltd. for methane detector models GTQ-GN8010 and GTQ-GN8020, Shenzhen Langxin Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. for model GTYQ-LS838-46, and Shenzhen Noah Intelligent Co., Ltd. for model GTYQ-SNE4100B. Both Zhuhai Xinghua Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. models GTYQ-XH800A and GTY-XH800C also passed, alongside Guangdong Yingfeng Technology Co., Ltd. for carbon monoxide online automatic monitoring instrument model YF-CAMS.

Products that failed inspection

Four products were found to be substandard. Shenzhen Suofuda Electronics Co., Ltd. failed for sulfur dioxide gas detector model SFD-600SO2D, while Shenzhen Haiman Technology Co., Ltd. failed for industrial and commercial point-type combustible gas detector model GT-721M-NB. Shenzhen Yichengchuang Technology Co., Ltd. failed for gas detector (carbon monoxide alarm) model YCC-GS400-500, and Dongguan Zhongkeshenxin Technology Co., Ltd. failed for smart traceability scale (non-automatic weighing instrument) model BPL803.

Type mismatch concerns

Seven batches demonstrated inconsistencies between the type approval certificate and actual production. Anluola (Shenzhen) Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. was cited for point-type toxic gas detector (carbon monoxide alarm) model RGM100-100, while Shenzhen Suofuda Electronics Co., Ltd. was cited for hydrogen sulfide gas analyzer model SFD-600SD. Three intelligent weighing machine models were also flagged: Guangdong Yingjiniman Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. model YX-S71 STA30, Guangdong Youxin Infinite Network Co., Ltd. model YX-S65B STA-30, and Guangdong Miguo Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. smart scale model MT005. Finally, Shenzhen Suofutong Industrial Co., Ltd. had two combustible gas detectors flagged, models GT-9801TC and GT-9801TB.

All inspection results are detailed in the official annexes published alongside this announcement, dated September 12, 2026.
