On September 22, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the 2026 China Top 500 Private Enterprises list. Six enterprises from our region have earned a place on this prestigious ranking, marking an increase of one compared to the previous year and highlighting the region's steadily improving private economic landscape.
The selected companies are Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co., Ltd., Huineng Holdings Group Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Yitai Group Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Ordos Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Mengtai Group Co., Ltd., and Chifeng Yuanlian Steel Co., Ltd..
This year's survey, organized by the federation, marked its 28th iteration and focused on large-scale private enterprises. A total of 6,350 companies with annual revenues exceeding 1 billion yuan in 2025 participated, with the top 500 by revenue forming the 2026 list.
According to the survey results, the total revenue of the top 500 private enterprises reached 44.93 trillion yuan, with an average of 89.851 billion yuan per company, representing a year-on-year growth of 4.35%. Their combined net profit stood at 1.83 trillion yuan, averaging 3.652 billion yuan per company, up 1.31% from the prior year. Furthermore, their total tax contributions amounted to 1.30 trillion yuan, with 254 companies—or 50.80% of the top 500—each paying over 1 billion yuan in taxes.
