ZYBANK has successfully navigated its leadership transition period. In April, Guo Hao resigned as Chairman of ZYBANK due to a work reassignment, with Zhou Feng stepping into the role while also relinquishing his positions as President and Vice Chairman. Zhang Tao was subsequently appointed as the new President. The simultaneous change of both Chairman and President was the most closely watched corporate event for ZYBANK in the first half of 2026.
There were expectations that the bank would require a prolonged period of management磨合, but it is clear that the partnership between Zhou Feng and Zhang Tao has proven to be quite harmonious. Based on the first-half 2026 financial results, ZYBANK has continued to strengthen its asset management capabilities. On one front, the bank's total assets are approaching the 1.5 trillion yuan mark. As of the end of June 2026, ZYBANK's total assets reached 1.49 trillion yuan, a 5.8% increase from the end of the previous year. Within this, total loans (excluding accrued interest) stood at 745.779 billion yuan, up 1.6% from the end of last year. Both corporate and personal lending segments maintained growth momentum. By the end of June 2026, corporate loans reached 434.135 billion yuan, an increase of 12.297 billion yuan, or 2.9%, from the end of last year, while personal loans totaled 278.805 billion yuan, up 2.1% from the end of the prior year.
On the other front, ZYBANK achieved growth in both revenue and net profit. During the first half of 2026, the bank reported operating income of 14.271 billion yuan, a 5.2% increase, and net profit of 2.15 billion yuan, up 1.0%. This performance is partly attributed to the bank's cost control measures. For the six months ended June 30, 2026, operating expenses amounted to 3.893 billion yuan, a decrease of 177 million yuan, or 4.3%, year-on-year. Within this, employee costs fell by 5.3% to 2.373 billion yuan.
Behind the asset expansion and profitability gains lies ZYBANK's refined customer management strategy. As of June 30, 2026, the bank's total corporate client base grew to 518,100 accounts, a net addition of 19,000 from the end of last year. Retail customers reached 37.914 million, an increase of 1.091 million from the end of the prior year. This is particularly evident in its distribution channel approach. Mobile banking, WeChat banking, personal internet banking, remote customer service centers, and joint innovation centers have all contributed to attracting new customers.
On its WeChat official account, ZYBANK has achieved top-tier status with over ten million followers. The bank has intensified its WeChat channel operations, focusing on promoting key products, driving campaigns, boosting brand awareness, and publishing consumer protection educational content. In the first half of 2026, ZYBANK published 143 articles across 24 issues, reaching a cumulative readership of 1.985 million. By the end of June 2026, its WeChat official account boasted 12.126 million followers, a growth of 663,500 from the end of last year, with 8.5449 million users linking their bank cards, up 547,200 from the end of last year. Compared to other provincial city commercial banks, most of which have follower counts in the low millions, ZYBANK's follower base ranks among the top in the industry.
Progress has also been made on its mobile banking app. As of the end of June 2026, registered mobile banking users reached 19.7574 million, a net increase of 700,600 from the end of last year, while active mobile banking customers totaled 16.8496 million, up 638,100 from the end of the prior year.
