0306 GMT - Fujitsu's medium-term growth outlook is supported by the coming global rollout of the Monaka processor although execution remains crucial, Jefferies analyst Hiroko Sato says in a note. Fujitsu's next year or two will likely be characterized by investment and development of new businesses, including Monaka-based servers and quantum computing-related offerings, she says. In the near term, she is looking for a meaningful profit recovery in the company's hardware segment in fiscal 2Q following a segment operating loss in 1Q, the analyst says. Jefferies raises its target price on Fujitsu to 4,250 yen from Y3,830 and maintains a hold rating. Shares are 0.9% higher at Y4,029.
