Hong Kong logged a 5.6% growth in total retail sales value in August at HK$32.1 billion, compared with the revised increase of 4.5% in July, provisional government data showed Friday.
The Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department added that sales for the first eight months of the year from all retail outlets were up 8.5% year on year.
