Synaptics (SYNA) stock was 15% higher after a 4.7% rise on Thursday. ON Semiconductor (ON) and Synaptics revised their merger under which Onsemi will buy Synaptics for about $5.70 billion, compared with the prior deal with an enterprise value of roughly $7 billion. ON Semiconductor shares were 8% higher.

Cypherpunk Technologies (CYPH) shares were up 8.9%, partially reversing the 12% loss in Thursday's close.

Armada Acquisition Corp. II (XRPN) stock was 7% higher following shareholder approval of its business combination with Evernorth.

Fossil Group (FOSL) shares were up 3% ahead of the company's annual shareholders' meeting.
