Tech Stars' Market Cap Approaches $25 Trillion

It was a magnificent Monday for the tech stocks known as the "Magnificent Seven."

The seven mega-cap companies-Nvidia, Apple, Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta and Tesla-ended Monday's trading with a combined market cap of $24.836 trillion, a new record.

-- That figure is larger than the nominal GDP of every country in the world except the U.S., according to Dow Jones Market Data.

-- Nvidia, the largest company by market cap, finished the day with a record high stock price and a market cap of $5.76 trillion.

-- Microsoft is once again approaching a $4 trillion market cap. Its shares rose 1.5%, ending the day at their highest level since last October.
