BMC Minerals (ASX:BMC) intersected 'significantly' mineralized intervals during drilling at its Kudz Ze Kayah project in Canada, expanding known mineralization of the Rhyolite Peak prospect, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling returned 7.4 meters at 179 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of silver, 6.9% zinc, 1.1 g/t grade of gold, 0.6% copper, 1.2% lead from 30 meters, 5.2 meters at 233 g/t grade of silver, 9% zinc, 1.7 g/t grade of gold, 0.4% copper, 2.6% lead from nearly 58 meters, and 4 meters at 264 g/t grade of silver, 9% zinc, 2.9 g/t grade of gold, 0.6% copper, 4.3% lead from almost 57 meters, the filing said.
Assay results from the remaining diamond drill holes are expected by mid-October, per the filing.
Shares fell past 1% in morning trade Monday.
